Limpio takes a historic leap in commercial infrastructure with Plaza Norte, the first shopping center of its kind in the area. Behind this project was Implenia S.A., a construction company that embraced the challenge with meticulous planning, innovative vision, and quality.
“The Plaza Norte project far exceeded the quality and efficiency standards we set from the very beginning,” says Eng. Diego Bentel, director of Implenia S.A., who reveals the technical and strategic background behind one of the most emblematic projects of the year.
Eng. Bentel emphasizes that it was a major challenge, not only because of the scale of the development but also because of the pace of work required to meet the established deadlines.
“We were able to deliver the project within the agreed timeframe thanks to rigorous planning, integrated management with other project stakeholders, and a committed technical team,” he noted.
He also stresses that execution efficiency was not achieved at the expense of quality.
“Meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality is a priority, and in this case, we achieved both: efficient execution and a final result of the highest construction standards,” he states.
But Plaza Norte not only stands out for its flawless technical execution, it also breaks paradigms in terms of design and urban integration.
“Plaza Norte is the first shopping center in the city of Limpio, which already makes it a very significant project for the area,” Bentel pointed out.
The center adopts an open strip mall format, very different from traditional enclosed shopping malls.
“It’s a space designed to integrate with its surroundings, inviting people to stroll, enjoy the outdoors, and have a more approachable, comfortable, and accessible experience,” he explained.
This approach gives priority to how visitors flow, visual connections with green areas, and a more natural atmosphere, making it both a commercial destination and a community meeting place.
From an institutional standpoint, the project represents much more than a one-off achievement.
“Plaza Norte represents a milestone in Implenia’s portfolio. It is a large-scale project, in a highly demanding sector such as retail, that reaffirms our ability to execute complex projects while meeting high technical, quality, and management standards,” said Eng. Bentel.
This project, in addition to consolidating the company’s prestige in the sector, serves as a business card for future challenges.
“It positions us strongly in the Paraguayan market, especially in terms of large-scale projects that require a construction company with experience, structure, and commitment,” he added.
Plaza Norte transforms Limpio’s commercial landscape and positions Implenia S.A. as a key player in the country’s urban and business development.
